Original Acrylic Painting on Canvas
Dimensions: 24" W × 30" H × 1.5" D
Beneath a striped umbrella, a glamorous woman in white cat-eye sunglasses sits poolside, her feet dangling in the cool blue water. A pink cocktail waits nearby, along with her handbag and an afternoon that seems to be moving at its own pace.
Waiting Wasn't Her Strong Suit captures the charm of vintage Florida resort life with a playful hint of mystery. Is she waiting for someone who's late, contemplating her next adventure, or simply enjoying a moment entirely to herself?
With vibrant tropical colors, expressive brushwork, and a touch of retro sophistication, this original painting celebrates leisure, independence, and the stories hiding behind a perfect pair of sunglasses.
Original, one-of-a-kind artwork by Laurie Cavender.
